This weekend may be one of the busiest – and longest – of the year when it comes to live music in the Twin Cities. Devo, Dosh, Foreigner, two nights of the Hold Steady, The Heavy, Tool, Dillinger Four’s 7th annual D-4th show and the epic Taste of Minnesota festival will showcase dozens of performers including P.O.S., Sammy Hagar, Minus the Bear, Offspring, Dawes and 311. Whew.

However, arena shows and outdoor festivities aren’t all that are happening this Independence Day weekend. Here’s a short list of other goings-on that are sure to keep the spirit of independence alive.
