Holy. Fuck. I had heard about them, heard their music, and their recent album, “Latin”, has received some substantial praise but I had no idea what I was in for. Instrumental, rhythmic bliss. Walking out with the vinyl was one of the best decisions I’ve made in a long time. Except that I was out of cash, so I picked it up at the ‘Fetus a few days later. The wait was excruciating. But worth it.
So, without further ado, Toronto, Ontario’s Holy Fuck performing at the Turf Club in St. Paul, Minnesota with Portland, Oregon’s Nice Nice opening.
Photos after the jump.

Great great photography, can almost hear the music.
Your pictures are really great but would it have killed you to run your blog entry through a spell checker?
@Liam: Thanks! I try to bring people into the experience as much as I can through still imagery. It’s a challenge, especially in very low light conditions like these.
@Vanessa: Thanks for the kind words and the heads up on the spelling failure, I shouldn’t let myself be so rushed when I’m posting! I’ve fixed the offending words. Thanks for dropping by. :)
Hey Erik, with photos as good as yours, it shows professionalism and brings up the level of your blog as a whole when the writing is free of mistakes. Hope my words weren’t too harsh.
Nope, not to harsh at all. I strive to make the information I post along with the images as concise, accurate and well-edited as possible. If you hadn’t pointed it out I probably wouldn’t have picked my head up from my photo work to notice!
Was at this show, and I think you captured the energy perfectly. Lots of knob twisting.
Great work!
Thanks Micah!
These photos took me awhile to get up on the site, was hoping that they would convey the experience well!
