I’ve been wanting to shoot The Melismatics for a long, long time but their shows kept eluding me for one reason or another. I’ve seen other photographers’ shots of this band and, frankly, they’re hella’ charismatic. Their music is just as charismatic – their catchy alt-rock tunes that do indeed rock and the sweet hooks will keep you humming along days later. This isn’t the challenging, abrasive music I often champion. This is music that’s made for people to enjoy, music that speaks to you and invites you to sing along. If you see them playing in your town, check ‘em out and see one of the best and hardest rocking pop bands that the Twin Cities has to offer.

Seriously. If they’re coming to your city or one near you just go and check it out!
